Child Privacy Notice
A parent or guardian controls whether a child’s math progress is saved online. A subscription and permission to store child information are separate choices.
Before you set up a profile
Child profiles are optional. Guest progress, pets, coins, and settings stay in the current browser and may be lost when browser storage is cleared.
What a child profile stores
With parental consent, we save a nickname, profile identifier, grade, quiz history, settings, and pet rewards. We also keep parent contact and consent records. Do not enter a child’s full name, email, school, address, phone number, or birth date.
Why we use it
We use this information to provide practice, save progress, and support and secure the account. We do not sell child information, use it for targeted advertising, or send it to AI content-generation providers.
How parent setup works
Sign in as a parent, request the setup email, and follow its link to read and accept the notice. A short confirmation receipt follows; no further action is needed. Without consent, the online child profile remains unavailable. Paying for membership is separate.
Who helps us run the service
Eternara Technologies Inc. operates Daily Math Quest. Google Cloud and Firebase provide hosting, sign-in, storage, and email delivery through Gmail. External library providers receive connection information. Processing may occur outside Canada. Stripe handles adult payments.
Public sharing, referrals, classroom rosters, and student-linked teacher dashboards are disabled. No advertising pixels or session replay are active. See our Privacy Policy.
Your control
In My Account, review or delete child profiles, withdraw consent, or request privacy help. Withdrawal stops future online child-profile collection and starts deletion. It does not cancel membership; use Manage subscription for that.
Email support@dailymathquest.com for access, corrections, or help. We verify account ownership.
Retention
You can delete child profiles in My Account. Profiles are scheduled for deletion after 12 months without profile activity, with an email warning at least 30 days before deletion. Using the profile resets that period; subscription renewal alone does not.
Saved quiz submissions are separately scheduled for deletion after 24 months. Earlier profile deletion removes them too and does not cancel membership. Browser-only progress remains until cleared on that device.
Daily database backups expire after 30 days. Required adult billing and consent records are kept separately. See storage and retention for backup recovery, exports, and other records.
