Privacy Policy

Daily Math Quest is operated by Eternara Technologies Inc. This policy explains the information used to run accounts, math practice, subscriptions, and support.

At a glance

Guest progress stays in your browser. Saving a child’s progress online requires separate parental consent. We do not sell children’s information or use it for targeted advertising.

Information we use

We use adult account and sign-in details, support messages, and technical logs to run and protect the service. Google sign-in may provide your name and profile image. With parental consent, we save a child’s nickname, grade, quiz history, settings, and pet rewards. Please use a nickname, not personal identifying details. See Child privacy.

Payments

Stripe handles payments. We keep subscription status and limited billing, invoice, and card details—not full card numbers or security codes. A subscription does not give permission to save child data.

How information is used

We use information to provide practice, save permitted progress, manage billing, send account emails, answer support requests, prevent abuse, and meet recordkeeping duties. We do not send child profile data to AI content-generation services.

Service providers

Google Cloud and Firebase provide hosting, sign-in, storage, and email delivery through Gmail. Stripe processes payments. External library providers receive connection information. Processing may occur outside Canada.

Public child-profile sharing, referrals, classroom rosters, and student-linked teacher dashboards are disabled. Analytics, advertising pixels, and session replay are not active in the child-facing application.

Optional analytics for adults

Added October 21, 2026. Signed-in adults aged 18 or older can opt in to Google Analytics on My Account. This choice applies to the account, membership and parent setup pages in that browser. Google receives browser, device and approximate-location information to report parent visits by country and parent page. An analytics cookie lasts up to one day. The preference is stored locally for that parent account.

The analytics code does not run on child learning pages. We do not send account identifiers, names, email addresses, child-profile details, quiz answers or results, URL queries or fragments to Google Analytics. Advertising storage, Google signals and ad personalization are disabled. Browser privacy signals are respected. Analytics is optional and can be turned off in My Account at any time; this stops future collection and removes the analytics cookies. Previously collected data is not automatically erased by opting out. See Google's privacy policy.

Storage and retention

You can delete child profiles in My Account. Profiles are scheduled for deletion after 12 months without profile activity, with an email warning at least 30 days before deletion. Using the profile resets that period; subscription renewal alone does not.

Saved quiz submissions are separately scheduled for deletion after 24 months. Earlier profile deletion removes them too and does not cancel membership. Browser-only progress remains until cleared on that device.

Daily database backups expire after 30 days. Recovery excludes child profiles and requires fresh parental consent. Separate exports may have different retention periods; their expiry is not yet confirmed.

Required financial records are kept separately, generally for six years after the relevant tax year, or longer when required. This does not require keeping children’s learning data.

Other record retention

Resolved support messages are deleted after 90 days. Delivered parent-email content is removed after 30 days and failed-email content after 90 days. Unsent messages over 30 days old are reviewed.

Consent and privacy-request evidence is kept during consent and for 24 months after recorded withdrawal or account closure. Routine security events expire after 30 days; mandatory provider audit logs may last longer. Legal holds can extend retention.

Your choices

Use My Account to review or delete profiles, withdraw consent, and manage billing. Cancelling membership and deleting child data are separate choices. For access, corrections, or privacy help, email support@dailymathquest.com. We may verify account ownership.
